President Paul Biya has ordered the disbursement of 2.7 billion FCFA to the ministries of basic and secondary education.
The release was signed by Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, Secretary General at the presidency on March 7, 2022
According to the release, this money is meant only for those who marked the 2020-2021 Baccalaureate exam.
This means that other striking reasons like poor working conditions, no automatic promotion, no substantial recall have not been addressed.
However, Cameroonians on social media think that the protest is far from ending .
