The accident occurred at Kake, a village few metres away from Mbanga in Mungo Division.
Our source reports that it was a head-on collision between the bus and a heavy truck which made both vehicles stray into the bush.
While the exact number of those affected is yet to be known, our source maintains that over 17 are feared dead and several others injured.
The bus in question was a 35 seater bus which was called to take passengers to Mbouda last night .
